A variety of allergies

In people with allergies, the immune system is hyperacidic: it considers harmless substances to be dangerous. These allergens are called allergens. There are a variety of allergies, for example pollen, house dust mite, animal hair or mold allergy. Skin and blood tests are used to ensure a reliable diagnosis. Treatment usually consists of avoiding or reducing allergens and medications. With specific immunotherapy (hyposensitivity), the body is trained not to classify allergens as “enemies.”
